Where the data comes from. Sections, times, rooms and seat counts were typed in from the printed Spring 2027 Graduate Elective Matrix (last updated 10/27, subject to change). Titles cut off on the printout may be shortened. Check every section number on USC Web Registration before you bid.
Degree requirements. Based on the STARS degree-progress rules for MS Business Analytics (program 1559, catalog year 2026-27, students who started Fall 2026): 33 units minimum; core DSO 530 and DSO 545 plus the first-fall courses; at least one selective from DSO 531, 551, 556, 564, 573 or 574; at least three 500-level DSO electives; remaining units from FBE 543 and 551, MKT 512, 536, 543, 551, 566, 567 and 568, MOR 530, 531 and 569; and a practicum. Rules can differ by entry year, so confirm with your advisor.
Seat counts are the seats open to your bid group. They do not show demand, since a section with many seats can still be the one everyone wants. The Spring 2026 tag shows how many seats were still open for that course in USC's class archive, across all sections and all students, not just MSBA. It shows leftover capacity, not what anyone bid, and sections, titles and instructors can change from year to year (DSO 528 had a different title in Spring 2026). Professor links open a name search on Google (limited to marshall.usc.edu) and on RateMyProfessors, which is third-party student opinion that has not been checked. Syllabus links open the Spring 2026 class archive for that course. Unofficial planner, not affiliated with USC.
